The Bible as the only infallible source and norm of doctrine and rule of life. "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach another gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed!" (Gal. 1:8). "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night that thou mayest observer to do according to all that is written therein" (Josh 1:8)
On one God in three persons, Father Son and Holy Ghost. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word [Christ] was made flesh and dwelt among us" (John 1:1,4). "God was manifest in the flesh" (I Tim. 3:16). "But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things" (John 14:26). "I and my Father are one" (John 10:38).
The fall of man into sin and his redemption. "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned" (Rom. 5:12). "For as by one man's disobedience many where made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous" (Rom. 5:19). "For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life" (Rom. 5:10). "For he hath made him to be sin for us who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" (II Cor. 5:21).
On man's need of regeneration and conversion. "Repent ye, and believe the gospel" (Mark 1:15). "And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Rom. 12:2). "To open their eyes, and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins" (Acts 26:18).
On the shed blood of Jesus Christ as the only means of salvation. "And without shedding of blood is no remission" (Heb. 9:22). "Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world" (John 1:29). "How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God" (Heb. 9:14).
That forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in His Name. "Whosoever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them" (John 20:23). "To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins" (Luke 1:77). "And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations" (Luke 24:47). "Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you" (John 15:3). "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Rom 10:17 and Rom. 10:10).
That believers should walk a holy and a sanctified life. "That ye put off concerning the former conversations [life] the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lust; and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteous and true holiness" (Eph. 4:22-24). "Now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light!" (Eph 5:8). "As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus, the Lord, so walk ye in him" (Col. 2:6).
That the fruits of justification are good works. "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them" (Eph. 2:10). "That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God" (Col. 1:10). "Even so, every good tree bringeth forth good fruit: but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit" (Matt. 7:17,18).
On the second return of Christ. "So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation" (Heb. 9:28). "This same Jesus which is taken up from you into heaven shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven" (Acts 1:11).
On the final judgment of both the just and unjust. " For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that every on e may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad" (II Cor. 5:10). "Marvel not at this ; for the hour is coming in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth: they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation" (John 5:28,29).
